INTERNATIONAL TRADE DEPARTMENT UPDATE

Welcome to the January edition of our International Trade Newsletter, the first issue of 2025! We hope you all had a fantastic time enjoying recent festivities and your New Years have got off to a happy, healthy and productive start.

Whilst we all took a well-deserved break over the festive period, there was still lots happening in the world of International Trade. This newsletter explores and summarises these recent developments including updates to CBAM, Digital Carnets and trade deals.

New Services and Funding Opportunities for 2025 

A New Year brings new opportunities, and we can’t wait to continue to support our community with whatever chances or challenges arise. 

As part of our dedicated International Trade support, we offer an extensive range of services and products to help you on your trade journey. From Supply Chain & Customs Health Checks to ATA Carnets there are so many ways we can help you navigate the complex world of global commerce. 

One of these products is our popular Business Translation. Recently we have been working behind the scenes to bring you a revitalised offering. Soon we will be launching our refreshed product which will help bridge the language barriers in business with ease. 

In conjunction with the revamped product, we will be running monthly webinars providing practical tips and insights to ensure your businesses thrives internationally. The first session, How Professional Translations Unlock Global Markets, takes place on Monday 24 February and is FREE for Members to attend.

We are also delighted to provide new fantastic funding opportunities available on our Trade Expert Training.
