A look back at International Trade Department
Did you know that international markets can offer huge opportunities for UK businesses? However, selling internationally can be very complex. We helped people to navigate these complexities in our Import Procedures & Documentation Training, exploring all the key areas around importing. If you are interested in attending this course, the next session is scheduled for Wednesday 8th November.
This course was then quickly followed by our Customs Procedures & Documentation Training. Our training providers explained the procedures required when dealing with customs authorities. When trading internationally compliance is crucial, no company wants to endure inspections or worse fines!
At the end of September, we held an engaging and insightful International Trade Roundtable - Exploring Emerging & Overseas Markets, with Jennings International at the Holiday Inn, Southend-on-Sea. The event bought together leading companies with a keen interest in expanding their presence in emerging overseas markets. They had the opportunity to tap into an extensive network of contacts across key markets, ranging from potential buyers, distributors, agents to strategic partners.
October began with our Understanding Rules of Origin Training where attendees learned all about the major role Rules of Origin play in FTA Agreements and how vital it is to understand and comply to them to be more competitive in export markets.
